Tinguinha starts this drill with Mike in the basic closed guard position
Note that Tinguinha is controlling one of Mike's arms and the collar. Tinguinha then puts his foot on Mike's right hip, which is the same side that he has control of the arm.

Simultaneously, he lifts his hips and shoots his other leg over Mike's neck. Tinguinha releases the collar, moves his hand to Mike's right arm, pulls the arm across his body and uses his left hand to control his own ankle.
Tinguinha completes this half of the drill by locking the triangle in. He pulls Mike's head down and lifts his hips to simulate the finish. Notice that his right leg is tucked under his left. Tinguinha then completes the drill by repeating the steps on the other side.
