April 2008- Sayreville, NJ- The MMA scene has arrived in the Garden State. Twenty-eight New Breed Fighters from New Jersey competed to a fanfare of 800 people in Club Abyss, in Sayreville, N.J. The event saw six MMA fighters emerge as top competitors. All six fighters represented Tiger Schulman’s fight team. Tiger Schulman’s top fighter, Christian Teran, increased his record to 4-0 with a win over Jeremy Pompei. Team Diesel's Justin Incera began the evening with a unanimous decision win over Steve Sierra who represented Alex Wilke's MMA. Jeremiah Hines of Modern Martial Arts, NJ defeated Dan Smedberg of Renzo Gracie, PA, at 1:40 of round 3. Sensei Garzillo, leader of Tiger Shulmans MMA, showed his experience with a decisive armbar of young, C.J. Chey of Team Diesel. Louis Gaudinot had R.J. Starace under pressure in the last round. Gaudinot was close to finishing in the third round when he worked his way to the mount. Louis Gaudinot pulled the winning unanimous decision. Gaudinot has trained in MMA since the tender age of 6 yrs old. This is his first year competing in MMA. He’s a member of Yonkers’ Tiger Schulman’s MMA Fight Team.
