LAS VEGAS — If you can fight, the UFC wants you to prove it at its open casting call for “The Ultimate Fighter 9.”

The UFC and Spike TV will hold an open casting call at The Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois for Season 9 of the “The Ultimate Fighter.” This season the series will be casting mixed martial artists in the middleweight (185 lbs.) and welterweight (170 lbs.) divisions.  You must be 21 or older to participate.

UFC President Dana White will oversee the tryouts with executive producer Craig Piligian, co-executive producer Andrea Richter and Spike TV’s senior vice president of sports and specials Brian Diamond.
 
AND
 “The Ultimate Fighter,” season 9 will feature 16 American and 16 British fighters competing in the middleweight (185 lbs.) and welterweight divisions (170 lbs.) where they will then have the opportunity to compete for a six-figure contract with the UFC organization.
