Do you want rock solid? Check Lloyd Irvin's credentials. Among other accomplishments, Irvin-who has black belts in BJJ, Thai Jitsu, combat sambo and judo-is a champion in judo, BJJ and sambo. And, in 2004, he was named the North American Grappling Association's Instructor of the Year, as well Grapplers Quest 2004 Instructor of the Year.

Ryan Villogram

  • Won two titles at the WKA East Coast Championships.
  • Finished 2005 as the No. 1-RATED grappler (gi) and (no gi) in the country.
  • Most notable matches are his eight victories, including two submissions and zero losses against Gianni Grippo, a Renzo Gracie standout.
  • Won 16 titles in 2005, including the GQ U.S. Nationals Gi Advanced, GQ U.S. Nationals No Gi Advanced, GQ Copa Atlantica 1st Advanced, NAGA National Submission Grappling Champion Advanced and Grapplers Quest West BJJ Champion Advanced.
  • Accomplished all of this despite the passing of his mother, a single parent, shortly after he won his first titles in May. He competed in Grapplers Quest less than a week after her funeral.

Carlo Levell
Age: 8
  • Five-time NAGA champion
  • Outstanding technician for his age.
  • Submitted six out of seven kids via triangle at last year's NAGA World Championships.
Ti-Jean Awad
Age: 10
  • Three-time NAGA champion.
  • Numerous bronze and silver medals in the last two years.
  • Notable victories include an undefeated record against Aubrey Theode.
Angelo Claiborne
Age: 10
  • Won his first championship belt at the 2005 NAGA National Championships.
  • Has competed in more than 25 tournaments in the last four years.
  • Nicknamed "The Truck."
Bjorn Brooks
Age: 7
  • Legally blind.
  • Competed in his first grappling tournament and won four matches. Finished with a silver medal.
Cedric Bryant
Age: 12
  • Won a title at the Grapplers Quest U.S. Nationals, two titles at the NAGA World Championships and two titles at the WKA East Coast Championships.
  • Won the NAGA No Gi National Championships (advanced).
  • Notable victories over Colin Taylor, Nick Page and Emily Dawson of Team Odyssey.
Eboni Hardy
  • Three-time NAGA champion.
Aarae Alexander
Age: 11
  • Won four titles in NAGA and Grapplers Quest.
  • Only two losses despite less than one year of experience.
