Flores Places 11th at Worlds |

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — Justin Flores (Glenville, N.Y. / USA Judo National Training Site at the Jason Morris Judo Center) earned the highest placing for Team USA at the World Championships on Saturday (Sept. 15), finishing 11th in the 66kg division with two wins and two losses.
“We’re all very pleased with how the team has done so far,” said Coach Jason Morris (Glenville, N.Y.) “Almost everyone has really performed up to and beyond what we could have expected and there have been some great wins. I think our program is continuing to improve and things will only get better from here, but really solid performances are paving the way for our younger players to build on as well in future years.”
