In the last two days, Miguel Torres, Manny Tapia, Mike Swick and Josh Koscheck have all been on our radar.

Torres and Tapia talked for more than 30 minutes during a WEC conference call. While not officially friends, they have done PR together for the WEC. Both spoke highly of each other during the call. Their fight tomorrow night should be awesome. If you haven't seen Torres fight, you're missing out, big time.

Koscheck, in preparation for his December 10 bout with Yoshiyuki Yoshida in the UFC’s Fight for the Troops, took 15 minutes out of his schedule to talk to us yesterday. He provided some good quotes on a variety of topics, and they will run in an upcoming issue of Ultimate MMA. Josh, BTW, was funny, respectful and really candid.

Finally ...  Mr. Swick, who recently married Mary Gomez. He has been corresponding with us via e-mail regularly for the last week. It's been a little tough to schedule an interview because he's preparing for Jonathan Goulet on the Fight for the Troops card. If all goes right, look for a story on Mike in the April issue.
