ProElite sent us some pictures from the pre-fight press conference for Saturday night’s fights, and here are some quick observations. • Ken and Kimbo Can you judge a book by its cover? Not necessarily. But, Ken does look relaxed. Or, at least he doesn’t look uptight, as he sounded during the conference call a week or so ago. • Paul Daley and Jake Shields Daley was in Jake’s face, but Jake is one tough customer. • 2A As usual, Andrei Arlovski has grown his beard, but the photo does not include Roy Nelson, his opponent. • Benji Radach and Murilo Rua Benji looks confident. Plus, every time I see that guy, I think of Sean Sherk, who said Radach hit him harder than anyone has ever hit him. • Kelly Kobold and Gina Carano ProElite submitted an interesting shot. Although they are in front of each other, both fighters are looking toward the camera, not at each other. Gina, as always, has a big smile on her face. • Check it out Saturday night. — DJ |
