SAN DIEGO, California - City Boxing recently introduced the newest member of its "world-class" training staff-Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Carlos Baruch C. Ferreira. Baruch is a "world-renowned" jiu-jitsu and MMA competitor. Having received his black belt in jiu-jitsu from Carlson Gracie, Baruch has many achievements as a jiu-jitsu, MMA, and submission-grappling competitor. His regular training partners include the likes of current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, former PRIDE FC heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Vitor Belfort. Baruch will be teaching gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu classes at City Boxing's Pacific Beach and Downtown training centers, as well as offering private jiu-jitsu lessons, and training with City Boxing fighters.
