Our Angels won 100 games this year and promptly lost to the Red Sox in baseball’s playoffs. I can’t begin to tell you how disappointed I am. We have to work our way through the autumn and winter before our Boys of Summer return.
Losing is tough for anyone; you should have been there in LV when we saw the UFC’s Jorge Gurgel after his last loss. And I can imagine how Chuck Liddell felt after his most recent loss to Rashad Evans.
No one, regardless of what sport, wins every time. So, as disappointing as the end turned out to be, let’s thank Mike Scioscia, Laddy, Figgy, Teixeira, Lackey, K-Rod and the rest of our guys for a fantastic season. It was a great ride; it just ended too soon.
